Some of the most important characteristics a low capacitance probe must have include, having good insulation so as not to affect impedance, a low cable capacitance that guarantees optimal performance at higher frequencies, as well as signal accuracy and signal amplification. As such, the CP352 low capacitance probe comes readily configured to handle low frequencies, wide bandwidth and low probing points. To this end, the very low passive probe has a frequency band of DC ~ 6GHz, and an input capacitance with a low probing point of 0.25pF (10：1 = 0.25pＦand 20：1 = 0.4p). However, despite its low capacitance, it does also have a max input voltage which is set at 20Vrms, 40VACpeak. Other features include a damping ratio of 10：1 ± 3.5% max, and 20：1 ± 3.5% max and an input resistance of input resistance 50Ω ± 1%. In addition, it also has an input resistance of 450Ω ± 2％ max (10：1, and 950Ω ± 2％ max（20：1). Review of Key Specifications To ensure the non-generation of intermodulation distortion in the probe, the CP352 probe uses an active element in the probe tip. In addition, to make the measurement of the high frequency possible, it has a small input capacitance of 50Ω. To this end, the device does not require power supply when measuring circuits. Accordingly, as a versatile device, the CP352 probe has switchable attenuation chips with each having a damping ratio of 10:1 and 20:1, which gives you more attenuation options.
