Product Overview:
The Model MTX 162 oscilloscope is a compact, lightweight and stackable instrument which can be connected directly to a PC via USB or Ethernet thanks to a PC operating software LabWindows and LabView drivers. Once this communication is connected, the oscilloscope offers you a maximum sampling speed of 20 GS/s (repetitive) or 50MS/s (single-shot), a vertical Resolution of 8 bits, and a memory capacity depth of 50,000 points - whereby the storage capacity depends on PC configuration used. Furthermore, the device has an array of measuring abilities that aggregates various functions like; an FFT analyser and a MATH functions that allows a more comprehensive view of complex waveforms as well as a comprehensive measure in ampacity of each constituent sine function. Review of Key specifications The Model MTX 162 comes in two versions namely, the Model MTX 162UE (2-Channel, 60MHz) and the Model MTX 162UEW (2-Channel, Wi-Fi, 60MHz). However, despite the version you go for, all of them share similar features that include, manual cursors with dv, dt, 1/dt differentiation, and point- to- point time difference phase cursors that can be linked or unlinked to trace automatic measurements. In fact, the MTX 162 can synchronously run a minimum of 2 measurements and up to 19 measurements on any type of curve markers and limits. Other feature includes, a Vertical Sensitivity 5mV to 100V/div, a Bandwidth 60MHz (with a bandwidth limiter: 15MHz, 1.5MHz or 5kHz), a time base speed of 32 that ranges from 5ns to 100s/div, as well as a trigger sources from CH1, CH2 and Line. Furthermore, the trigger types include, Type Rising or falling edge and adjustable pre-triggering from 0 to 100%. As for the trigger modes, all versions come with trigger modes such as Auto, Triggered, One-shot ROLL and Auto-level at 50%.
