The Tektronix probe is an industrial-style clamp-on probe has a BNC connector and can be used with a shrouded banana plug adapter 1 so it can be used on digital multimeters, TekMeter, and oscilloscopes.
Depending on the models, the A621 & A622 comes with different features. To start with, the A621 model has a frequency range of 5 Hz to 50 kHz while the A622 model has a frequency range of DC to 100 kHz. In addition, the A621 have a maximum input current of 2000 A peak while the A622 has a 100 A peak. Other differing features include, a maximum conductor diameter of 54 mm (2.13 in.) in the A621 model and 11.8 mm (0.46 in.) in the A622 model.
However, the two models do share some characteristics whereby the A621 and the A622 both have a maximum bare-wire voltage of 600 V (CAT III). Finally, the two models can onboard various accessories like an adapter, lead; discrete – MLD, 2, 18 AWG, dual insulation, BNC, female X 4 mm dual insulation; banana jack X dual insulation plug and shield banana.
