With digital phosphor technology with FastAcq, the MDO4000C Series provides you with fast insight into the real operation of your device. In fact, it’s fast waveform capture rate - greater than 340,000 wfms/s - gives you a high probability of quickly seeing the infrequent problems common in digital systems like: runt pulses, glitches, timing issues, and more. To further enhance the visibility of rarely occurring events, intensity grading is used to indicate how often rare transients are occurring relative to normal signal characteristics.
Consequently, it has four waveform palettes available in FastAcq acquisition mode including the temperature palette which uses color-grading to indicate frequency of occurrence. This means that, from a visual point of view, hot colors like red/yellow indicates frequently occurring events, while colder colors like blue/green will indicate rarely occurring events. In addition, it has a spectral palette which still uses color-grading whereby, a normal palette will use the default channel color, while the inverted palette will use the default channel color along with grayscale, which is used to indicate the frequency of occurrence.
